Kayak Sails

Kayak sails are gaining in popularity - they are used for anything from sailing downwind to being used competitively in races.

I used to lead ten day trips in Baja in double Kleppers, and we enjoyed those days when we could put upour sails in a light breeze.

It is handy to have a rudder and be able to use your paddle (or stow your paddle in a location where it won't "crab" and you can get to it easily) when you are sailing.

Of course, much depends on the conditions!
